Dr. Neamtu graduated from the Speed School of Engineering at the University of Louisville and then earned his medical degree at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Neamtu completed his ophthalmology residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo and a two-year medical and surgical vitreoretinal fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Neamtu works with The Eye Care Institute and Butchertown Clinical Trials, acting as a Principal Investigator on Phase II, III, and IV trials involving vitreoretinal diseases and surgery.
